Let the Building Begin!! 

1. Purchase your building site & prepare it for building.                                                                This may include septic, water, construction driveway and electric but we’ll guide you every step of the way! 
   
2. Identify what you are able to invest in your home.                                                                           To arrive at this figure, simply take out the cost of the land and the cost of lot improvements, the remaining balance equals the purchase price of your home.
   
3. Decide on a style & square footage of home.      Custom Cape Cod, Custom Ranch, Custom 2-Story?    2,3,4, Bedrooms?  2, 2.5, 3 Bath? Square footage?
   
4. Contact kt Home Builders - 812.498.9647
   
   1. We will then set an appointment to meet with you to identify your wants, needs, expectations, & ideas.       
      
   2. We will construct a floor plan design that best fits your family and budget.
      
   3. Upon acceptance of floor plan we will then begin to design the interior & exterior by selecting your flooring, cabinets, counter-tops, lighting, trim, doors, etc.
      
   4. We will then review all selections, make any final changes then submit your home plans to Heckaman Homes to begin construction.
      
5. 6 - 9 Weeks for Heckaman to build your home       During this 6-9 weeks kt Home Builders will be preparing your building site.  We will pour the foundation (crawl or basement), install septic, cistern, and complete all tasks before house delivery.
   
6. Delivery & Set                                                                                                Your home will be delivered to your building site on special low-boy trailers, then crane-set to your foundation.  All within 1 day!
   
7. Finish                                                                                                                     For the next couple of weeks kt Home Builders will be completing the final touches on your house and finishing any on-site building if you chose to add porches, garages, or decks.
